Philosophy and Method
I am a Master Teacher of violin. I work with commited students of all ages, skill levels, and musical genres. I help my students reach their musical goals by teaching the form and practice techniques most need by each student. If you are a beginner, I will start you out right with correct form and technique. If you are returning to the violin or are simply seeking a “tune-up” fear not, I am a master fixer. Listening to your concerns and interjecting my own observations, I will provide you with the skills needed to improve.
I bring creativity and personal involvement into the teaching by asking my students for their input and opinion while guiding them toward developing the skills they need. I thrive on my students leaving the lesson feeling they have learned something new and productive to attain their personal goal. A dedicated student, following the playing and practice techniques I offer, could grow to the point of becoming their own teacher.

Rates and Policies
Please note that as a professional performing violinist my schedule requires flexibility. This means I cannot give you lessons on the same day and time each week, and sometimes I have to skip a week or reschedule. Given my circumstances, I communicate frequently with students to ensure they get regular lessons. I thank you for your understanding and your flexibility.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations occuring 24 hours before the lesson can be rescheduled at no charge.
Cancellations in less than 24 hours before the lesson require a 50% lesson payment for rescheduling.
